Hello!
Just a couple of pics from Bern - the main street in the old town and one of the Jungfrau region (mtns) from Bern Munster.
Had a great time so far - nice to have a day in Paris, had a bit of an epic train journey from Paris to Bern but had fanastic scenery in the Alps. Bern was brilliant - a really pretty old town which is surrounded by a loop in the river. We got lucky with the weather and had a really nice walk around the river, sat outside and had a beer and saw bears in Bern's 'bear pits'. Train ride to Interlaken yesterday was spectacular and the views were great when we arrived - have a hostel with a balcony and great views of the mountains. Weather has since swallowed the views though and we can't see a great deal today. Tomorrow is supposed to be better and were going to take the train up to 'The top of Europe' - the highest train station in Europe at about 3500m above sea level. Hopefully we'll see something from the top!
